As an IoT expert Gilles has been involved in the world of the Internet of Things since the beginning.
He guides organisations on the opportunities and challenges related to IoT benefits, business impact, security, regulations, connectivity and technology.
Together with Robert Heerekop he wrote and recently published a unique IoT-book, combination of a management book and a novel.
Gilles Robichon is currently working as an IoT consultant for IOTC360.
He advises companies and public organizations about the benefits and challenges presented by the Internet of Things.
Together with Robert Heerekop he wrote the flip book “Mastering the Internet of Things / Disrupted”.
Gilles has been involved for the last 15 years in the world of M2M (machine-to-machine) solutions, now better known as IoT (Internet of Things).
He started as an electrical engineer in 2000, and his expertise grew from connecting the first machines to deploying large scale smart applications, and from solving technical challenges to defining strategies and business cases. He is the most proud of his out-of-the-box choices for the rollout of 6 million smart meters in The Netherlands.
Gilles speaks three languages and has worked in Europe, China, and the US.
Gilles is enthusiastic about the opportunities offered by IoT and likes to analyse challenges and situations “out-of-the-box” and with an open mind. His book “Mastering the Internet of Things” describes the challenges associated with an IoT project using simple and understandable language.
